Official Retention List for the Indian Premier League 2022 has been announced by all the teams. This year all the teams were given a total purse of ₹90 crore. Franchises were allowed to retain a maximum of 4 players, in which they could retain a maximum of 3 Indian players and maximum 2 Overseas players.
For a Four Player retention: Teams had total 42 crore INR available, with 16 Cr for the first player, 12 Cr for the second, 8 Cr for third and 6 Cr for the fourth.
