Following the couple of Covid-19 Positive Cases in the host side the ODI series between India and Sri Lanka is set to be rescheduled.
The ODI series which was to begin on 13th of July, now is likely to start around 18th July. Sri Lankan Cricket Board wants its players to serve some more time in quarantine. Yesterday Sri Lanka Cricket Board announced that their batting coach Grant Flower and the Data Analyst of the team G. T. Niroshan were found Covid-19 positive following their PCR tests.
According to the earlier schedule the ODI series was to start from 13th of July to 18th of July and the T20I series from 21st of July to 25th of July at R. Premdasa Stadium in Colombo.
Sri Lankan Board is likely to announce the revised schedule for their matches against India to the BCCI and the Indian Broadcasters soon tomorrow.
