Commonwealth Games 2022 are set to begin today in Birmingham. Temperatures are gonna raise in Birmingham from today.

- It will start from 28th July, continuing till 8th of August.
- This is the first time Cricket is gonna be a part of the CWG in the form of Women’s T20s.
- About 280 events are going to be held across 20 sports.
- In the quadrennial event, India is sending an over 300-member contingent to Birmingham.
- PV Sindhu has been declared as the flag-bearer for India at the CWG opening ceremony.
- Olympic Gold and World Championship Silver Medalist Neeraj Chopra is going to miss the CWG due to injury caused during the World Athletics Championships.
- Indian Women’s Cricket Team will face Australia on July 29th, Pakistan on July 31st and Barbados on August 3rd.
